Amanda is the founder of Natural Zest Skincare, a brand born from her personal struggles with sensitive, dry skin. After spending over 20 years in the nursing profession, Amanda sought a solution that didn’t rely on injectables or invasive treatments. Her passion for natural wellness, driven by the healing power of plants and essential oils, led her to create a line of skincare products designed to nourish and rejuvenate the skin naturally.
The Mission
Amanda came to us with the goal of upgrading the branding and packaging of Natural Zest Skincare to better reflect the quality of the products. While the products themselves were highly effective, the visual presentation didn’t match the premium nature of the range. The mission was to create a brand presence that felt professional and high-quality, helping to attract and connect with the right customers.

The Call
The turning point came when Amanda recognised the importance of shelf appeal in attracting potential customers. The existing packaging didn’t adequately reflect the professional and high-end nature of the skincare range. Amanda knew it was time to update the branding and packaging to make it more appealing and aligned with the quality of the products.
Services Rendered
To help Amanda elevate Natural Zest’s brand presence, we provided a complete suite of design services. This included designing a new counter stand and blade stand to boost visibility at markets, where Amanda regularly engages with customers.
In addition, we overhauled the product packaging — a key part of the project. While we designed new box packaging for each product, we had to ensure that the design worked seamlessly with the existing jar labels. The goal was to create a cohesive look that unified the full range, while still respecting the design elements of the jars. This alignment ensured that both the box and the jar complemented each other, giving the brand a polished, consistent visual identity.
The Process
Our process began with creating a detailed brief that outlined the project goals, the target audience, and key deliverables. We worked closely with Amanda to ensure we understood her vision for the brand and the message she wanted to communicate. A mood board of style references was also created to ensure alignment on the overall look and feel. Once the brief was finalised, we moved into the design phase, creating the new packaging and display elements to meet the goals of professionalism and quality.
Special Insights
During the project, we encountered a challenge with the original packaging print supplier. With a tight deadline, we quickly adapted and engaged a reliable local printer to ensure the project stayed on track. This flexibility ensured the high-quality standards were maintained while meeting the deadline.
The Outcome
The final designs gave Natural Zest a fresh, professional look that accurately reflects the high-quality products Amanda offers. The new packaging, from the boxes to the gift sets, now aligns with the brand’s ethos of natural wellness, while the new counter and blade stand help elevate the brand’s presence at markets. The updated designs have made a significant impact, making the brand more appealing to customers and enhancing its professional image.
